Obituary of Bill O'Connor

William “Bill” Daniel O’Connor of Teeswater and former employee of Woodbine Racetrack, passed away at home, on Thursday, December 9th, 2020, at the age of 90. Dear father of Daniel (Danny) O’Connor and wife Louise, Deborah (Debbie) Ciccotelli and husband Tom, Dianne O’Connor and partner Michael (Mike) Baldesarra, William (Billy) O’Connor and wife Elizabeth (Liz) and Catherine (Cathy) Cox and husband Michael (Mike). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Julie McMahon, Natalie McMahon, Nicholas Starynec, Melanie Ciccotelli, Stefanie Ciccotelli, Kristian Ciccotelli, Shannon O’Connor, Samantha O’Connor-Ryan, Dallas O’Connor, Krystal Cox, Amanda Cox-Sall, Patrick O’Connor and Rory O’Connor. Missed by great-grandchildren, Taylen Brallet, Nathan Brallet, Ella Keller, Danielle Pileggi, Joshua Pileggi, Willow Emon, Taylor Ruttan, Dylan Ruttan, Sloane Ciccotelli, James Wharton, Hudson Wharton, Kaelynn Cox, Kassandra Cox, Tianna McLaughlin, Kian Sall, Scarlett Starynec, Abigal Starynec, Carly O’Connor, Kayla O’Connor-Ryan, Cooper Ryan, Liam Peplow, Audrey Kavchak and Nora Kavchak and great-great-grandchildren, Parker O’Connor and Lily Shaw. Also survived by his sister, Marlene Plewes, brother Ray O’Connor and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, William and Violet (née Reed) O’Connor, grandson Michael Cox and brother-in-law Ross Plewes. Cremation has taken place and a celebration to honour Bill’s life will be held when it is safe to gather, reminisce and share memories. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
