Obituary of Helen Nichols

Helen Calvert Nichols a resident of Braemar Retirement Centre in Wingham, formerly of Walkerton, Formosa and Lobo Township, passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Thursday, June 19th, 2014 in her 95th year. The former Helen Scott, beloved wife of the late Lloyd Nichols who predeceased her in 2008. Loving mother of Mary and Bert Vanderwal of Ilderton, Les and Mary Nichols of Formosa and Glen and Louise Nichols of Sackville, New Brunswick. Cherished grandmother of Sandra and Dale Jardine, Steve Nichols and Jennifer Dillon, Shelley and Gordon Cranfield, Scott and Trish Nichols and Laurie Vanderwal. Loved nana of Sarah, Rachel, Tyler and Sean Nichols and Kate and Leah Jardine. Lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Ruth and Willard Hartley and several nieces and nephews. Helen was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents, Leslie and Agnes (Calvert) Scott, sisters Marion Thompson (George), Margaret Shipley (Harry), Isabel Charlton (Andrew), Bernice Player (Ken) and sister-in-law Edna Barker (Ray).
