Obituary of Karl Lorch

Karl Friedrich Lorch of R. R. 1 Formosa passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, December 30th, 2013 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the former Helga Zettier. Dear father of Fred Lorch and his wife Daphne of Teeswater, Susan Ceniti of Brampton and Heidi Erwin of R. R. 1 Formosa. Missed by grandchildren, Marcus Lorch and his wife Victoria and their children Justin, Amanda, Olivia, Ava and Lily, April Trink and her husband Stephen and their children Abigail, Emma, Lucas, Isabella and Sophia, Crystal Archambault and her husband Kyle and their children, Samuel and Micah, Cyndal Lorch, Shadoe Lorch and his wife Chantelle and their children Ayden and Lyra, Ethan Lorch, Amanda Ceniti and Jessica Batte. Survived by his sister Bertl Kiefer and her husband Wolfram of Germany, sisters-in-law, Anni Lorch of Germany, Erika Peipp and her husband Hans of Badjeros and brother-in-law Egbert Zettier and his wife Ann of Spain. Predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Gertrud (Reiff) Lorch, granddaughter Sheetal Lorch, great-granddaughter Savanna Lorch, son-in-law Vito Ceniti, brothers Eugene Lorch and Walter Lorch and brother-in-law Wolfgang Zettier. Karl was born in Heselwangen, Germany in 1932, the second of four children. He emigrated with his new bride to Canada in 1954. Farming was always his passion, and along with his family he built up his life just west of Formosa as a successful dairy and poultry farmer. After almost three decades he decided to retire to his next Formosa area home, where he enjoyed nature and tending to his orchard for many years. He will be forever remembered by his family.
