Obituary of Jim McKee
James “Jim” Wayne McKee, of Teeswater, passed away at Wingham and District Hospital, after a lengthy illness with cancer, on Friday, June 28th, 2024, at age 76.
Beloved husband of Linda McKee (née Fischer).
Proud father of Chad (Andrea) and Brett (Sandra).
Missed by his grandchildren, Aiden, Kylie, Ellie, Jake, Gillian and Harrison, whom Grandpa took great pride in and enjoyed attending the various sports and activites they participated in, especially baseball.
Dear brother of Ron (Gerry) McKee and Bryon McKee.
Fondly remembered by his in-laws, Tom Fischer, Lorna Lang, Evelyn Fischer, Marlene Fischer, Ray (Judy) Fischer, Anna Lou (Barrie) King, Ted (Barb) Fischer, Leone Millen and Lenore Brick, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his grandson Jax McKee, parents Norman and Edna (née Hunt) McKee, in-laws, Gregory and Anna Fischer and brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim (Doris) Fischer, Lorraine Mousseau, Lucille (Lindsay) Spielmacher, Corinne Fischer, Karl Lang, Paul Fischer, Art (Eileen) Fischer, Laurette (Jack) Maxwell, Hubert Fischer, Jack Fischer, William Fischer (infancy), Joe Brick and Bob Mousseau.
Following Jim’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service, a private burial will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations to Ronald McDonald House, London, London Health Sciences Foundation (Cancer Program) or Wingham & District Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
