Mary Ann Macdonald (née Hamilton) of Teeswater, and formerly of Barrie, passed away at Huron Shores Hospice, Tiverton on Monday, August 14th, 2023, at age 89, with family by her side..
Beloved wife of the late William James Macdonald.
Loving mother of Malcolm (Dorothy) Macdonald, Roanna Chapman and Sandy (Dorota) Macdonald.
Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Tammy-ann, Tanya (Danny), Tasha and Amanda, and great-grandchildren, Breanna, Veronica, Xavier, Logan, Mason, Octavia “My Bonnie Wee Lassie”
Mary (Mamie) will be missed by her many nieces and nephews from across the pond, along with her extended Chapman family and her special friends who became family, Linda and Mat.
Predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth (née Buckley) Hamilton, siblings Cathy (Joe), Martha (Peter) and Betty (Terry) along with brother John (May) and son-in-law Kenny Chapman.
Following Mary’s request, cremation has taken place, with private family arrangements.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
