Dear Joan and family,
On behalf of the Bruce County Historical Society, our sincere sympathy to you in the passing of Jim.
May the memories of the times together help at this time. Eldon and I also extend our sincere sympathy to you, Joan. Jim was President of the Bruce County Historical Society and I was the Secretary. We had a lot of laughs and learned about history. Also I think one of your sons was/or a teacher with Mary Lou Meredith in Kitchener. Take care. Sincerely,
Eldon and Judy MacKinnon

Dear Joan,
Our love and sympathy from downunder. We have fond memories of you and Jim visiting with us in Auckland several years ago. Not sure if your kids would remember me babysitting them during my high school days. Please convey my condolences to them as well.
A hug,

Our sincere sympathy to you Joan and all the families. Many years ago while playing slo pitch ball with my neighbour Larry Lamont there was a fine young gentleman on the team by the name of Ken. It did not matter to me his last name he was just a good young guy. As you get older in life you change speeds and I got interested in the game crokinole finding out Ken was playing crokinole with his father Jim who I later had many interesting conversations with on the streets of Teeswater. Rest in peace Jim your friendliness, I will always remember. Sincerely,
Peter and Jo-Ann Carter
