Obituary of Keith Fitzgerald
Harold “Keith” Fitzgerald, a resident of Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home and formerly of Teeswater, passed away on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022, in his 92nd year.
Beloved husband of the late Leona Fitzgerald (née Thompson) (1995).
Dear father of Don and Sandra Fitzgerald of Teeswater, Alfred Fitzgerald of Calgary, Sandy and Bev Fitzgerald of Blyth, Ken Fitzgerald and fianceé Tina of Paris and Paul and Cindy Steep of Wingham.
Sadly missed by 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Fondly remembered by special friends Jim and Sharon Yorke, brother-in-law Don Thompson and several nieces and nephews.
Keith was the last surviving member of his family, being predeceased by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth (née Hartwick) Fitzgerald, sons Bob and Jim Fitzgerald, brother Donald Fitzgerald, sister Anne Fitzgerald and sisters-in-law, Barb Thompson and Muriel Steep.
Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Tuesday, May 3rd from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by a private family graveside service at Culross-Teeswater Cemetery, with Ann Maycock officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Breast Cancer Society of Canada, Diabetes Canada or Pinecrest Manor Resident’s Council would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
