Travis Richard “Jake” Duck of Teeswater, passed away tragically, on Monday, September 6th, 2021, at age 33. Cherished husband and best friend of Angela Duck (née Irvin). Loving daddy of Deakin, Ava and Colt Duck. Beloved son of Margaret “Margie” Duck (née Willie) of Teeswater and the late Richard Duck (January 2019). Adored brother of Charlene “Chucky” Gross (Richard “Ricky”) of Hanover and Lisa Duck-Montag (Joe) of London. Forever remembered by his father and mother-in-law, Murray and Elizabeth (née Ritchie) Irvin, sisters-in-law, Heather Mali (Taylor), Lynn Irvin and nieces and nephews, Maggy Jo, Ella and Mavrick Gross, Juno and Adalina Montag and Ethan and Olivia Mali. Greatly missed by his grandmother Edith Willie (née Smith), aunts and uncles, Dorothy Bell, Ellen Schmalz (Nook), Creg Duck (Brenda), Duane Duck (Brenda), Linda Hall, Joanne Beadle (John) and Earl Reinhardt, members of the Irvin and Ritchie families, along with numerous cousins, neighbours, friends and co-workers. Predeceased by his grandparents, Douglas and Nadene (née Wallace) Duck and David Willie, aunts, Sandra Reinhardt, Elaine Bester and Donice Donaldson and uncle Rob Hall. A celebration of Jake’s life will be held at his home, 12 Shannon Street, Teeswater on Sunday, September 12th, 2021, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., with remembrances shared at 2:30 p.m. Please dress in your everyday casual attire. Interment Culross-Teeswater Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to an Education Fund for Deakin, Ava and Colt (cheques payable to Brenda Duck) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be arranged on-line or by contacting the funeral home.
