Obituary of Blanche Weiss

Blanche Eileen Weiss of Teeswater, passed away peacefully at Wingham & District Hospital on Sunday, March 22nd, 2020, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Wilfred “Toots” Weiss for 66 years. Missed by her siblings, Lorraine Voisin of Wingham, Joe Weiler (2021) of Waterloo and Art Weiler (Barbara) of Waterloo. Blanche will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Connie, Todd, Richie, Kelly, Peter, Patricia, Paulette, Ann and Jacqueline and several great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Edward & Rose (née Kunkel) Weiler and in-laws, Nicholas Voisin, Patricia Weiler, Michael Weiss (Catherine) and Lou Jean Weiss. A memorial mass for Toots and Blanche will be celebrated on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 at 12 noon from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Teeswater, with Father Paul Edmondstone officiating. Proof of vaccination is not required to attend the mass. However, masks are required with physical distancing protocols in place. Reception to follow at the Teeswater Community Centre.
