Obituary of Ruby Jarvis
Ruby Elizabeth Jarvis (née Scott) of Wingham and formerly of Teeswater passed away peacefully at Braemar Retirement Centre on Sunday, July 21st, 2019 in her 96th year.
Beloved wife of the late Bonar Jarvis, who predeceased her on June 2, 2013.
Dear mother of Lois DeVries and her husband Sandy of Listowel, Bill Jarvis and his wife Kathy of R. R. #2 Teeswater and Joyce Cook of London.
Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Fondly remembered by her sisters, Bernice Neumiiller of Saskatchewan, Loretta Krauter of B.C. and Margaret Pashishnek of Alberta, brother Eugene and Ruth Scott of Saskatchewan, members of the Jarvis and Donaldson families and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Arnold and Mary (née Mighton) Scott, son-in-law Brian Cook, sisters Viola Scott in infancy, Ruth Taylor (Alvin), Violet Purdon (Russell), Vera Holderness (Edgar), Dorothy Holmstrom (Norman) and Vivian Scott and brothers-in-law Harold Neumiller, Ross Krauter and Don Pashishnek.
Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Wednesday, July 24th from 2 to 5 p.m., where the funeral service to honour Ruby’s life will be conducted on Thursday, July 25th, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Brian Hymers officiating.
Interment Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
