Obituary of Laverne Harris

William Norman Laverne “Vern” Harris of R. R. #1 Holyrood passed away at Wingham and District Hospital on Thursday, June 27th, 2019, at age 73.

Beloved son of the late Albert and Mary (née Switzer) Harris.

Remembered by his siblings, Bob Harris (Willa) of Teeswater, Ray Harris (Connie) of R. R. #5 Lucknow, and Jean Furness of Brussels.

Missed by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and special friends John and Bev Visser and their family.

Predeceased by siblings, June Harris, Susan Dillon (Joe), Bert Harris, Tom Harris and Marion Fischer (Doug) and brother-in-law Rod Furness.

Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019 from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m., followed by the funeral service to honour Vern’s life at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating.

Interment Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
