Obituary of Anna Scheurwater

Hendrika Janna “Anna” Scheurwater (née ten Pas) formerly of Culross Township, surrounded by family, at Braemar Retirement Centre, on Monday, May 6th, 2019, at the age of 90.

Beloved wife of 63 years to the late Peter Scheurwater (November 16th, 2018).

Loving mother of Bernice and her husband Carmon Courtney, Bill and his wife Glenda Scheurwater, Aileen and her husband Michael Alemu, John and his wife Ann Scheurwater, Joyce Scheurwater, Eric Scheurwater, and Linda Ann and her husband William McGrail.

She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Missed by siblings and in-laws, Johan and Phyllis ten Pas, Arie ten Pas, Frits and Sally ten Pas. Vonnie ten Pas, Sonja (Reijer) Van Lenten, Pat ten Pas, Sharon ten Pas.

Predeceased by her parents, Jan and Berendina (née Legters) ten Pas, siblings and in-laws, Dina and Gerrit Grevers, Willem ten Pas, Hendrik ten Pas, Gerhard and Kim ten Pas, Jan ten Pas, Bernard ten Pas, Evie ten Pas, parents-in-law Willem and Aaltje Scheurwater and in-laws, Geert Van Lith (Mien), Aaltje de Kruif (Marinus), Johanna van Valburg (Gerrit) and Cornelia Bos (John), Toon Verbeek (Jo) and Wout Scheurwater (Jantje).

Fondly remembered by many relatives, extended family and friends in Canada, United States and The Netherlands.

Visitation will be held at the Fresh Winds Revival Centre, (Wingham Pentecostal Church, 21 Lloyd Street) Wingham on Saturday, May 11th, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service honouring Anna’s life at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Jason Gilbert officiating.

Interment Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
