Obituary of Jean Bannerman

Jean Marie Bannerman (née Keith) of Goderich and formerly Culross Township, passed away surrounded by family, at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich on Thursday, May 9th, 2019, at the age of 92.

Beloved wife of Leonard Bannerman for 71 years.

Dear mother of Phyllis of Caledonia and Dorothy Thomson (Earl) of Barrie.

Missed by her grandchildren Jayson Bryce, Elisa Bryce, Melody Bryce and Sandi Bryce and several great-grandchildren.

Fondly remembered by her sister, Elda Nethery of Wingham and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents, William and Elizabeth (née Stobo) Keith, son-in-law Bill Bryce, brothers Jack Keith (Mary), Gordon Keith (Helen), Bruce Keith (Helen), sister Grace Townsend (Ken) and brothers-in-law Terry Nethery and Midford (Thelma) Bannerman.

Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Monday, May 13th, 2019 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service honouring Jean’s life at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Bonnie Borchardt officiating.

Interment Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
