Obituary of Bessie Scott

Bessie June Scott of Exeter passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 20th, 2012 in her 73rd year. The former Bessie Smith, beloved wife of Mervin Scott of Exeter. Dear mother of John Stacey and his wife Sherry of Clinton, Julie Lediet and her husband Preston and Peter Stacey all of Wingham. Missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brothers Stan Smith and his wife Mary of Markdale, Gordon Smith and his wife Marion of Dornoch and sister Cora Smith and her husband Melvin of Hanover. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Esther (Dyer) Smith, daughter Gloria, brother Ernie Smith and sisters Rose Smith (Alex), Ruby Rae, Tini Rawn and Anne Culbert.
