Obituary of Steve Millen

Stephen Paul Millen of Teeswater, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, at Wingham and District Hospital on Saturday, November 10th, 2018, at the age of 57. 

Cherished son of the late William “Bill” and Marie (née Weiler) Millen.

Loved brother of Rosemary Benninger of Teeswater, Betty Misener of Burlington, David Millen of Teeswater, Doug & Valerie Millen of Cambridge, Lorne and Joyce Millen of Teeswater and Theresa Millen and friend John Runstedler of Listowel

Fondly remembered by aunts, Donalda Millen of New Hamburg and Rita Strauss of Teeswater, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his Community Living family.

Predeceased by his brother Tom Millen, brother-in-law Allan Benninger and several aunts and uncles.

Steve was the “President” of the Ottawa Senator’s Fan Club, Teeswater Division!  His daily visits to many businesses and residences in his beloved town of Teeswater, will be greatly missed.  

Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Friday from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m., with vigil prayers at 8:45.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Formosa on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Father Michael Anderson as celebrant.  Everyone is encouraged to wear something red.

Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Reception and Celebration of Life to follow at the Teeswater Community Centre. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Community Living Wingham & District would be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
