Obituary of Kenneth Leddy

Kenneth Michael “Ken” Leddy of St. Augustine, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his life-long home on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018, in his 83rd year. 

Beloved husband of Catherine Leddy (née McLeod) for 57 years.

Loved father of Diana and Jim Coursey of London and Kevin and Sarah Leddy of St. Augustine.

Missed by his grandchildren, Allison and Jimmy Coursey and Brianna, Blake, Owen and Karah Leddy.

Fondly remembered by siblings Denny and Aileen Leddy of Kitchener, Billy and Jean Leddy of Exeter, Maureen and Bruce Thomson of Whitechurch, Bernadette and Bill Andrews of Auburn, Kathleen and Len Baird of R. R. #2 Wingham, Ann Marie and Bevin Tiffin of Kincardine, Elizabeth Moore of Wingham and Danny Leddy of Wingham.

Dear brother-in-law of Isabel and Keith Carter of Ripley, Sharon and Ken Metcalfe of Kitchener, Dorothy Howald of British Columbia, Helen Myers of Kitchener, John and Marlene McLeod of Alberta and Donald and Jan McLeod of British Columbia.

Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his son Brian Leddy (1974), parents Raymond and Gertrude (née O’Connor) Leddy, sisters Helen in infancy and Monica Fear and brothers-in-law Alvin Moore and Eugene McLeod (Melva).

A private family graveside service will be held at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Cemetery, with Father K. P. Morrison officiating.
