Obituary of Gladys Stewart
Gladys Marie Stewart (née Blake) of Braemar and formerly of Teeswater, died of a broken heart, on Thursday, December 7th, 2017, at the age of 81. Twenty-two days following the death of her husband of 64 years, Donald Stewart.
Born on April 12th, 1936 to the late James and Clara (née Harmer) Blake.
Her 4 children Joan (Raymond) Wright of Wingham, Jim (Deb) Stewart of Owen Sound, Ron (Jane) Stewart of Strathroy and Patti (Sandy) Staples of Kingston are heart broken.
Dear Grandma of Kevin, Brad, Janine, Amy, Mike, Bryan, Naomi, Andrew, David and Katie and Great-Grandmother to 11.
Survived by her sisters Maxine (Bill) Seers and Joyce (Jim) Oke all of Goderich.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by in-laws Velma (Lorne) McAllister and Eileen (Dave) Moffat, 1 nephew and 2 nieces.
Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Monday, December 11th from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The funeral service to celebrate Gladys’ life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 12th, 2017 at 1:30 p.m.
Interment Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
