Obituary of Olive McBurney

Olive Gertrude McBurney of Fordwich and formerly Turnberry Township passed away at Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Tuesday, July 24th, 2012 in her 85th year. The former Olive Grant, beloved wife of the late Jack McBurney who predeceased her in 2010. Mother of Brian and Brenda McBurney of Wroxeter, Doug and Jackie McBurney of Wingham and Jim and Marlene McBurney of R. R. #1 Wingham. Grandmother of Shannon and Peter Holland, and Jackie and Ryan Sanders all of Wroxeter, Adam McBurney of St. Thomas, Aaron and Rachel McBurney of Hamilton and Andrew McBurney of Wingham. Great-grandmother of Connor and Kaden Holland, and Paige and Tayt Sanders. Also survived by sisters-in-law Shirley McAllister of Wingham and Jean Stokes of Belmore and nieces Carol and Eric Shaw, Linda and Elwood Fitch, Karen and Dale Wardley and Gail and Paul Heffer. Predeceased by her parents Alex and Gertrude (Becking) Grant, brother Stewart Grant, brothers-in-law Mervin McAllister and John Stokes.
