Obituary of Mary Ellen Hallahan

Mary Ellen Hallahan of Seaforth passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital on Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 in her 63rd year. Beloved daughter of the late John and Patricia (Lynett) Hallahan. Dear sister of Betty Ann McGregor/Ehgoetz of Stratford, Mike (Agnes) Hallahan of Walkerton Jim (Lorraine) Hallahan of Blyth. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved dearly. Predeceased by two brothers Patrick and Dennis in infancy and brothers-in-law Jim McGregor and Elton Ehgoetz. Mary Ellen was a caring and compassionate nurse at Seaforth Community Hospital for 30 years. She was also a member of St. James Catholic Women’s League, Seaforth Royal Canadian Legion and the Huron Pioneer Thresher and Hobby Association. Mary Ellen volunteered for Huron Hospice, Town and Country as well as the Blyth Theatre. Thank you to all of the caregivers who sat with her and made her comfortable during her last days.
