Obituary of Jennifer Bestward

Jennifer Rose Bestward (Verkerk) of Teeswater passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice in London on Wednesday, May 20th, 2015 in her 66th year. Loving mother of Sarah Houston (Andrew) of Calgary, Nathalie Bestward of Alisa Craig and Joel Bestward of Calgary and step-mother to Keith Bestward Jr. (Tammy) of Fort Erie and Jim Sorley (Sabrina) of Thorold. Missed by her grandchildren, Odin and Colton Curts, Violet and June Houston and step-grandchildren Benjamin and Matthew Sorley. Dear sister of Corey Schreuders (Art), Audrey Boersma (Pete), Mynie Zondag (Jack), Geri Westerik, Wilma Ash, Gretta Verkerk, Sally Hummel, John Verkerk and Joe Verkerk. Jennifer will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and by members of the Verkerk, Bestward and Sorley families. Predeceased by her parents, Cornelius and Geritje (DePee) Verkerk, husbands Keith Bestward (1996) and Gary Sorley (2012), son-in-law Brandon Curts and brothers-in-law Ned Ash and Pete Hummel.
